when i finished this work,i only admire is hao sijia,she is forced to be brave and strong,the book "gone with the wind". not repudiation of the pluralistic character of scarlett,the tenacity to fight for the mission,and the ability to strive for it,i admire. after the war tara back to those coming from the miserable life,one of those helpless eyes,has lost his father,accustomed to the life of miss and two sister body is not too good,weak melly,a three or four year old child,there are two babies,three former black slaves. these people put all the hopes on her,and none of them could survive. in order to keep the red earth,she sacrificed her own happiness,although the means did not shine,but the significance was very important.

but for the character of hao sijia,my other feeling was contradictory,and it was a nuisance but i had to admire her. she is a very personality of the characters,the two men love her lifetime,but she did not know one. if she knew ashley,that she would not love him;if she understood rhett,she would not lose him. she had been longing,she just kept pursuing his dream of the prince - ashley. she is his love of the characteristics that ashley,she just made a gorgeous clothes,so ainslie,and then fell in love with him. and the fact is,she loves that dress.

for her,i had to admire her,admire her strength,admire her persistence in the land,admire her in that environment,and put aside the education she had received before. she has several souls in her life,and one is her mother. his mother is a very capable and gentle typical lady,the most admirable person. however,the mother was infected with typhoid fever and died. the other one is 10 years her favorite people -- ashley. she can stand up in the face of adversity,a large part of the reason is ashley. she is very dedicated to ashley. and one more,melanie. for more than ten years of fighting together,melanie had become an indispensable part of her life.

i think hao sijia is like a child,unusually persistent in what he wants,and dismissive of what he has. one side is trying to make himself happy,and constantly push happiness away and push the lover into the abyss.

the other woman in the book that made me very admired was melanie. she is a woman of virtue an hand in a velvet glove,she almost have a female can have. as rhett said,she was one of the few ladies he had ever seen. she is strong,she is patriotic,she uses all of her loved ones. when her husband during the war,she kept silent in the rear,as she could do,when the yankees into town and she is about to give birth,she remained calm,when her body is weak and no one to work will not eat,scarlett she and hao,let go of the past and superior education the sense of work dragged a weak body under the ground,when she saw hao sijia kill a yankee,she did not confound,but helped bury the dead,in search of money,wipe the blood,when the war finally ended,she hated the yankee soldiers came to her door and she asked to take care of themselves do not have too much food when she did all she could to help them,because she hoped that in the distance there is also a kind of yankee woman to her husband's home is a meal.

my favorite character in the whole book is rhett. he is brave and persistent,and he can love scarlett so much for more than ten years. he wanted to protect hao sijia,love hao sijia,take care of hao sijia,and let her everything,but hao sijia refused. he said that again the eternal love will have a time of polishing,and his love is polished by hao sijia's foolish stubbornness. his heart was dead. when his daughter left him,his heart would never come back. he said he had never had the patience to sew up the cut pants,and then told himself that it was the same as the new one,self deception. broken is broken,and can not go back,even if repaired,there is still a crack,it is not the original one.

rhett is a complex person,he has a good family,but still the old age and the misfits,he has sharp eyes,can find their own way to live in troubled times,he has a passion for the country,even if he knows will be lost,but at the last moment into the army. he loved scarlett,but he knew more about hao sijia,so he never said,only through action,and hao sijia never wanted to know him. finally,he was hopeless,and again and again he had no courage to try again,and he was tired.

soon however,marianne meets a man who measures up to her ideal: mr. willoughby,a new neighbor. so swept away by passion is marianne that her behavior begins to border on the scandalous. then willoughby abandons her;meanwhile,elinor's growing affection for edward suffers a check when he admits he is secretly engaged to a childhood sweetheart. how each of the sisters reacts to their romantic misfortunes,and the lessons they draw before coming finally to the requisite happy ending forms the heart of the novel. though marianne's disregard for social conventions and willingness to consider the world well-lost for love may appeal to modern readers,it is elinor whom austen herself most evidently admired;a truly happy marriage,she shows us,exists only where sense and sensibility meet and mix in proper measure.

first of all,this is movie is my all-time favorite,out of all the hundreds of films i have seen.however,every time i mention this film,i have to answer most people's quizzical looks with "it's a beautiful little 80s film that stayed in the 80s."

after seeing it for the 24th time since i first saw it 5 years ago,on my 13th birthday,i can gladly say that this movie went far and beyond the 80s,and the power and inspiration of the message can be felt every day.dead poets society is a most underrated film by a most underrated director whose inspiring,uplifting and moral tales firmly grounded in reality are not nearly as appreciated as they should be.here,we see one of his very personal and cradled projects,and he shows the visual style and concentration on characters in which he is so affluent.his control of the camera and the characters are very strong and very smooth.

the cinematography is near perfect,with every shot,along with the editing,seamless.also very compelling are the color-tones in every scene,perfectly matching the mood and events of the scene.could you say this is art?absolutely.then we have the performances.robin williams continues in stride as one who has to-date remained the most touching,heart-wrenching,awe-inspiring comedians with inarguable acting talent (he still remains my most favorite performer on the film screen).his professor john keating is a man who embodies every professor who you thought was cool and respectable,every person who taught or enlightened you in something out of the ordinary.in fact - dare i say it?- he teaches something extraordinary!we have the tragically underrated robert sean leonard in his role as the free-thinking catalyst student neil.why is this man not a household name/hollywood heavyweight?his roles are always full of inspiration,energy,and tragic emotion that never fail to move an audience.his role in this movie is fresh,unhindered,and never pretentious as the cautionary tale of the movie.and then we have ethan hawke in one of his earliest roles as the point-of-view character.the entire supporting cast is very strong,also,providing the foundation and serve as the various emotional ties that further involve us in the story.

josh charles's role as knox overstreet is a role that almost all guys can relate to wholeheartedly.and of course,all the actors who are in that dead poets society do a fine job.and lastly,the story.i won't summarize it since it's been summarized many times here,but i will say that it is one of the best coming of age stories for not only adolescents,but anyone.i have personally heard from nine-to-fivers who were inspired by this movie to change the situations of their jobs,careers,relationships for the better.i first saw this movie when i was 13,and immediately stamped,crowned and elevated this movie as my all-time favorite.now that i am 18 and living on my own,with very different concerns than back then,i turn back to this movie over and over again,to find inspiration,solace and of course,entertainment.it is still my all-time favorite,and it still inspires me to seize the day and make my life extraordinary.

after certain happy times winning over the laurences,dark times arrive as marmee finds out about her husband's illness. worse is to come as beth contracts scarlet fever in her samaritan efforts for a sick neighbour and becomes more or lean invalid. the novel tells of their progreinto young womanhood with the additional strains of romance,beth's terminal illness,the pressures of marriage and the outside world. this is the story of their growing maturity and wisdom and the search for the contentedneof family life. it was written in 1867 and is a fictionalised biography of alcott and her sisters. it has become a much loved classic tale and,while some of its issues seem outdated,many of the trials of the sisters are all too relevant today as evidenced by its continued following.
